A.' General' The GTRR remains under a safe shutdown condition. The reactor facility is in compliance with its license conditions and current technical specifications (10CFR50.51(b)).

j. ' B. Activities for the Month ofJune 1998

1. The draft Decommissioning Plan, Characterization Report, and Letter of Financial Intent were submitted to USNRC on July 6,1998.

2. The heavy water coolant was successfully removed from the Georgia Tech Research Reactor on July 20,1998, and shipped to DOE-Aiken.
