The GTRR remains under a safe shutdown condition. The reactor facility is in -

.On November 10, Georgia Tech communicated with DOE-Alken regarding F

' shipment of heavy water : DOE Alken reports that their barrel cleaning facility is

. now operational and that 50 barrels can be made available by the end of February 1998.

- On November 17, Georgia Tech provided an information copy to USNRC of the e

. GTRR Emergency Preparedness Exarcise Scenario scheduled for the moming i

of December 11,1997.
