Re: Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 Docket Nos. 50-250 and 50-251 Pro osed "C" Bus Desi n Chan es Our letter L-84-62, dated March 7, 1984, committed to submit the proposed long term design changes and modifications to the Turkey Point Units 3 5 4 "C" Bus by April 20, 1984. We have devoted a significant anount of resources towards the completion of our reviews of the off-site and on-site electrical power supply configurations at Turkey Point. Also during this period, we have identified additional areas of review which are appropriate to assure that our design and evaluation efforts are complete. These increases in scope have caused us to del@ our final'ubmittal.

As discussed with your staff, we recanmend that our electrical and technical personnel meet with your staff and NRR electrical reviewers in order to discuss the current status and direction of this major effort. We propose that this meeting be held in Mi ani at our General Office. This location would offer the convenience of a Turkey Point plant tour of the related electrical areas. This tour would provide your r eviewers with a firsthand knowledge of the "C" Bus modifications.

I The interim electrical configurations, as detailed in our Confirmation of Action letter L-84-36 dated February 21, 1984, will remain in effect until your review of our final "C" Bus modifications is complete.
