Nuclear Regulatory Coamission ACTION; NOTICE OF MEETING SURGERY: On May 23, 1980, the NRC issued a Memorandum and Order that defines Coamission 's requirements with respect to the environmental qualification of electrical equipment, at nuclear power plants .

The primary purpose. af these meetings will be to: (I) provide a more detailed technical expIanation of the new NRC requirements; (2) provide a description af the NRC approach, schedule, and administrative procedures to be follomd in implementing these requirements; and (3) provide a forum for discussion of the requi remen ts.
