REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON SET SEVEN FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY REVIEW REGARDING THE TRISO-X, LLC LICENSE APPLICATION FOR A NEW FUEL FABRICATION FACILITY (ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER L-2022-NEW-0005)

Dear Jennifer Wheeler:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has developed the seventh set of requests for additional information (RAIs) to support the environmental safety review of the TRISO-X, LLC safety and safeguards license application. Your application for a new fuel fabrication facility located in Oak Ridge, TN was submitted via letter dated April 5, 2022 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Number ML22101A200) and supplemented by letters dated October 13, 2022 (ML22286A144) and November 4, 2022 (ML22308A251).

The additional information, specified in the enclosure, should be provided within 30 days from the date of this letter.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 2 Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter and the public enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS. The ADAMS database is accessible from the NRC website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html. The PDR is open by appointment.
