H. Schierling Review Status: Continuing The response dated March 13, 1985 from Pacific Gas and Electric Company for Diablo Canyon, Units 1 and 2 to Generic Letter 83-28 committed to provide a future submittal that would address Sections 4.2.3 and 4.2.4 (Life Testing and Replacement) of the generic letter. The present schedule to complete the review projects a SER from the Equipment Qualification Branch to the Division of Licensing on or before October 31, 1986. To meet this schedule the licensee must respond no later than. January 31, 1986.

Please ascertain from the licensee when the staff can expect to receive this submittal.

If the expected date of submittal is after January 31, 1986, then advise Robert Wright (x28209) in order that a new target date for the SER can be projected.
