DAILY HIGHLIGHT Diablo Canyon Unit 2 - Completion of RCP Repairs The rewinding of the failed motor of the reactor coolant pump has been completed and the motor has been reinstalled. Unit 2 is currently in Mode 4 and is expected to be in Mode 3 later today (Friday). Criticality is expected this weekend to be followed by completion of the low power testing. Full power operation (i.e. above 5 percent) is scheduled for mid October and comercial operation for early January 1986. Unit 1 continues operation at 100 % power level.
