DAILY HIGHLIGHT Diablo Canyon Unit 2 The Diablo Canyon Unit 2 full-power license was issued today, August 26, 1985.

Unit 2 went critical on August 19, 1985, low-power testing is expected to-be completed during the first week of September, and commerical operation is scheduled to commence in December. There are now 93 full-power licenses for comerical reators in effect.
