3.0 PRECAUTIONS AND LIMITATIONS 3.1 FYRQUEL EHC is a skin irritant and rubber gloves shall be worn (Reference ,

WE C.H.E.S. manual ID No. 0451).

3.2 The EH system requires a high degree of cleanliness for proper operation. Therefore, extreme caution should be used when opening the EH system to ensure that it remains dirt free, e.g. wiping down filter housings prior to opening and covering any openings when unattended.

3.3 Ensure only lint-free rags (diapers, No. 915-0620) are used for wiping down surfaces on the EH system.

Lot No. 911-5391.

5.1.2 Obtain 3/4" and 7/8" wrenches.

5.1.3 Wipe down the filter housing prior to opening.

(Ref. Precautions and Limitations Step 3.2.)

  • FILTER HOUSING COVERS ARE SPRING i LOADED.

l 5.1.4 Remove the filter housing covers.

5.1.5 Clean and inspect 0-rings, replace as necessary  ;

(No. 915-5121).

5.1.9 Clean mating flanges on filter covers and housmg. l 5.1.10 Lightly lubricate 0-rings with EH fluid and reinstall.

5.1.11 Reinstall filter housing covers. l 5.2 F-701 A Cellulose Polishine Filter 5.2.1 Obtain a replacement filter, Lot No. 911-8918. i 5.2.2 Obtain a 1 1/4" wrench.

i 5.2.4 Open Vent EH-40.

  • CAUTION
  • FILTER HOUSING COVER IS SPRING LOADED.

5.2.5 Remove filter housing cover.

4 5.2.6 Clean and inspect 0 ring, replace as necessary (~No. 915-2130).

5.2.7 Using a rotating motion, remove and dispose of old filter cartridge.

, 5.2.8 Visually inspect inside of filter housing for excess dirt and debris. Ensure old filter cartridae 0-ring is removed from filter housing.

5.2.9 Install new filter cartridge. l i

5.2.10 Clean mating flanges on filter cover and housing.

l 5.2.11 Lightly lubricate filter cover gasket with EH fluid and reinstall.

5.2.12 Reinstall filter housing cover.

5.2.13 Close Vent EH-40.

5.3.2 Obtain a 1 1/4" wrench.

5.3.3 Wipe down filter housing prior to opening, (Reference Precautions and Limitations Step 3.2.)

5.3.4 Open Vent Elf-42. >

  • CAUTION
  • FILTER HOUSING COVER IS SPRING LOADED.

5.3.5 Remove filter housing cover.

5.3.6 Clean and Inspect 0-ring, replace as necessary (No. 915-2130).

5.3.7 Using a rotating motion, remove and dispose of old filter cartridge.

5.3.8 Visually inspect inside of filter housing for excess dirt and debris. Ensure old filter cartridce O-ring is removed from filter housing.

5.3.9 Install new filter cartridge.

5.3.10 Clean mating flanges on filter cover and housing.

5.3.11 Lightly lubricate filter cover 0-ring with EH fluid and reinstall.

5.3.12 Reinstall filter housing cover.

5.3.13 Close Vent Eli-42.

INITIALS 5.4 F-46A Throuch H 5.4.1 Obtain eight replacement filters, Lot No. 921-5646 and replacement filter 0-rings, Lot No. 912-9995.

5.4.2 Remove and discard the O-ring that is inside the inlet of the new filter.

5.4.3 Install a new O-ring, Lot No. 912-9995, into the inlet of the new filter.

5.4.4 Obtain the special wrench (located at either unit's reservoir).

5.4.6 Remove filter block cap. l l

5.4.7 Clean and inspect 0-ring (No. 912-9944) and teflon protector 1 (No. 912-9952), replace as necessary.  ;

5.4.8 Remove and dispose of old filter cartridge.

i 5.4.9 Visually inspect inside of filter block ,

for excess dirt and debris.

5.4.10 Install new filter canridge.

I 5.4.11 Clean mating flanges on filter cap and  !

5.4.12 Lightly lubricate 0-ring with EH fluid and reinstall with tefion protector.

5.4.14 Reinstall filter cap ensuring that the cap recesses into block with no shoulder visible.

5.5 Clean and Insnect Macnetic Plues (3) 5.5.1 Obtain a 13/8" wrench 5.5.2 Wipe down magnetic plug top prior to opening (Ref.

Precautions and Limitations Step 3.2).

5.5.3 Remove magnetic ph:g from reservoir.

5.5.4 Clean and inspect magnetic plug noting in remarks section any foreign material found. _

5.5.5 Reinstall magnetic plug in reservoir.

PMT 5.6 Inspect filter housings listed in step 1.1 for leakage while system is in operation.
