Ridgway of l this office on August 26-28, 1985, of activities at the Ohio State University Nuclear Reactor Laboratory authorized by NRC Operating License No.R-75 and to i the discussion of our findings with Dr. D. W. Miller and others of the staff l at the conclusion of the inspection. I The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, snd interviews with personnel. s b During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in violation , 1 with NRC requirements, as specified in the enclosed Appendix A. A written response is required. Certain other activities, set forth in Appendix B to this lette'r, appear to be a deviation from commitments which you have made in previous correspondence ,' with the Commission. Please advise us in writing within thirty days of the date of this letter of the corrective action you have taken or plan to take, , l showing the estimated date of completion with regard to this deviation. t In accordance with the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and ! i the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC's Public Document i Room. The responses directed by this letter (and the accompanying Notice) are not subject to the clearance procedures of the Office of Management and Budget
