This refers to the routine safeguards inspection conducted by Mr. T. J. Madeda of this office on February 2-4, 1987, of activities at the Ohio State University Reactor authorized by NRC License No. R-75 and to the discussion of our findings with Mr. R. Myser of your staff at the conclusion of the inspectio The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and interviews with personne During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in violation of NRC requirements, as described in the enclosed Notic The inspection showed that action had been taken to correct the identified violations and to prevent recurrence. Our understanding of your corrective actions are described in Paragraph 5 of the enclosed inspection report. Consequently, no reply to the violations is required and we have no further questions regarding this matter at this tim Areas examined during this inspection concern a subject matter which is exempt from disclosure according to Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice,"
