Gentlemen:
This refers to the routine r;aterial ccntrol and accountability inspection
conducted by Ms. G. M. Christoffer ard Mr. T. Kobetz of this office on
february 5-7, 1991, of activities at Ohio State University authorized by
Licenses flo. R-75, SilM-732 and SNM-1940 and to the discussion of our findings
with Mr. R. St. Pierre at the conclusion of the inspection.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas c>amined during
the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective
examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and
interviews with personnel,
tio violations of !!RC requirements were identified during the course of this
inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC
Public Document Room,
f.xhibits A and B, which are attached to the enclosed
report, concern a subject matter which is exempt from disclosure according to
Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of practices," Part 2, Title 10, Code of
Federal Rcgulations.
Consequently, the attachments to the enclosed inspection
report will r et be placed in the t4PC Public Document Room.
