6.5 Inspection of Hoisting Ecuipment and Rigging m
$i 6.5.1 Special visual and dynamic load tests shall be required only for y
hoisting equipment used in handling items listed in Category A E
in Section 6.2.
Non-destructive examinations shall be specified on a case by case basis.
z K3 6.5.2 For categories B and C, it shall be optional either to visually 8
inspect hoisting equipment and rigging every six months or to vi visually inspect before each use.

and acceptability of the hoisting equipment and rigging shall y
