Dear Sir:

In the McGuire response dated October 28, 1992, to Generic Letter 91-01 and pursuant to 10CFR50.90 a proposed license amendment to facility operating licenses NPF-9 and NPF-17'for McGuire Nuclear Station Units 1 and 2 was submitted to your office for review and approval. The subject amendment proposed the following items:

1. Revision of the Reactor Vessel Material Surveillance Program -Withdrawal Schedule (Technical Specification Table 4.4-5).

2. Removal of the Schedule for the Withdrawal of Reactor Vessel Material Specimens from Technical Specifications in accordance with Generic Letter 91-01.

Per our telephone conversation of November 8, 1994, please find enclosed a revised copy of Table 4.4-5 indicating the Capsule Number V has been removed as opposed to will be removed at 7 Effective Full Power Years (EFPY) as previously stated. A copy of Table 4.4-5 from the October 28, 1992 communication is included for you convienence.
