As I mentioned to you in my letter of 24 May 1982, I agreed to become a consultant to the law firm repre-senting Suffolk County, New York, in hearings before

the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on the licensing'of l
the Shoreham Nuclear Power Station.
Specifically, I have been asked by Suffolk County to review the plant's security plan, identify any deficiencies, and suggest improvements.
Furthermore, I have been asked to assist the Suffolk County Police Department in b sV'+3r$)'$

establishing the necessary preparations and liaison-

Because of this

Since then, I have learned that my participation in
