This request is made pursuant to the Freedom of Information 1 i

Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 522, as amended.

UNION ASSOCIATES submits this request to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to obtain i documents regarding the following" 1 l

FEBRUARY 18, 1983 MEETING AMONG NRC STAFF PERSONNEL LONG ISLAND LIGHTING COMPANY (LILCO) PERSONNEL, STONE

& WEBSTER ENGINEERING ENGINEERING CORP. (S&W) PERSONNEL AND ]

OTHERS AT THE SBOREHAM NUCLEAR FACILITY. '

In your response, the NRC should consider " documents" to mean any and all forms of written communication, including internal NRC staff memoranda. Your response should also include, but not be l limited to, the following:

reports, studies, plans, graphs, charts, ' diagrams, memoranda, correspondence, test results, working papers, meeting notes and minutes, computer records and print-outs, notes and summaries of conversations l i

and interviews.

These documents are specifically requested from, but not limited to, the following offices of the NRC:

Office of Investigations Office of Inspection and Audit Office of Nucleqr Reactor Research Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research Office of Analysis and Evaluation of Operational Data Operating Reactors Branch of the Division of Licensing NRC files at King of Prussia NRC files at the Shoreham Nuclear Plant site.

UNION ASSOCIATES requests the NRC to provide all documents prepared or utilized by, in the possession of, or routed through the NRC containing any and all information related to the following. <
