3) AECM-81/94, 3/6/81 On June 13, 1980, Mississippi Power & Light Company notified Mr. F.

Cantrell, of your of fice, of a Potentially Reportable Deficiency (PRD) at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS) construction site. The deficiency concerns debris in the Standby Service Water (SSW) basin being picked up by the pumps and transferred into the system.

Our previous report, Reference 3, stated that we were continuing our investigation into reportability of this deficiency under 10CFR21. We have since determined that this deficiency is not reportable under 10CFR21 for Mississippi Power & Light since the affected component had not been turned over to MP&L.
