Reference:
AECM-80/97, dated May 9, 1980 On April 11, 1980, Mississippi Power & Light Company noti-fled Mr. F. Cantrell of your office of a Potentially Reportable Deficiency (PRD) at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station construction site. The deficiency concerns the incorrect installation of a control panel (1H22-P118) and a protective relay panel (1H22-P028).
The NSSS supplier has been requested to analyze and evaluate the panel installation to determine affects on safety. Corrective actions will be based on the results of this evaluation.
We expect to provide a final report and determination of re-portability by December 10, 1980.
