UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COPISSION DOCKET NO. 50-312 SACRAMENTO MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENCMENT TO FACILITY OPERA!!NG LICENSE The U. 5. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has issued Amendment No.16 to Facility Operating License No. OPR-54 issued to Sacramento Municipal Utility District, which revised Technical Specifications for operation of the Ranche Seco Nuclear -

Generating Station, located in Sacramente County, California.

The emendment is effective as of its date of issuance.

The amendment to the Technical Specifications changes the surveillance testing of the reactor internal vent valves.
