I 7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-312 SACRAMENTO MUNICIPAL' UTILITY DISTRICT NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has issued Amendment No. 37 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-54, issued to Sacramento Municipal Utility District (j.he licensee), which revised the license for operation of the Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station (the facility) located in Sacramento County, California. The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.

The amendment modifies the license to include revisions to the previously approved Physical Security Plan for the facility.

The licehsee's filing, which is being handled by the Comission as an application, complies with the standards and requirements of the i

Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Comission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment. Prior pbbife notice of this amendment was not required since the amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
