REQUEST FOR REVIEW ASSISTANCE -

FIRE PROTECTION PROGRAM The fire protection Safety Evaluation Reports for operating plants have been completed however, there remair, a number of open items for each plant. These items consist of licensee's proposed modifi-cations to meet SER comitments and issues that were not completely resol ved.

Per our discussion with F. Schroeder, we understand that DSS resources are available to assist us in the review of these open items. Accordingly, as further discussed with V. Benaroya
