_--n Indian Point Energy Center Daily Status Report January 11, 2006 Operational Status Indian Foint Unit 2 is operating at 100% and has been online 20 days.

Indian Foint Unit 3 is operating at 100% reactor power and has been on-line for 99 days. Indian Point Energy Center ended 2005 with over 12,000,000 person-hours worked with a day away from work accident.

Emergency Plan Drill The Indian Point Emergency Response Organization conducted a response drill today. The drill simulated a response to a breach in the reactor coolant system which escalated to a simulated release of radioactivity. A simulated sabotage event was also included in the drill.

The nevw Joint Information Center at the DOT Hawthorne facility was tested as part of the drill.

Indian Point Tritium Investigation Monitoring well near spent fuel storage building installed Drilling for Monitoring Well 32, which is located adjacent to the IP2 spent fuel storage building, has been completed. MW-32 is the deepest well installed on site and was cored about 200 feet in bedrock. Samples will be collected at various elevations from this well. MW-31, the monitoring well just outside the spent fuel building will Packard's installed tomorrow to allow samples from multiple elevations also.

See attached storm water sample results table for a correction to one of the entries published yesterday.

The result of Catch Basin 24 was incorrectly reported as 959 pCiVL rather than 822 pCVL.

Two additional wells in phase one installation will be drilled inside the Unit 2 turbine building on either Aside of the discharge canal. The project team is conducting a detailed safety review due to the tight clearances and the presence of nearby electrical equipment. These wells should be installed by next week.
