  • Salem 2 entered the month at approximately 100% power.
  • On March 4, power was reduced to approximately 74% due to a 500kv line outage. Power was restored to approximately 100% later that day.
  • On March 13, the plant was taken off-line for planned maintenance on a feedwater regulating valve. The reactor remained critical throughout this maintenance, and power was restored to approximately 100% on March 14.
  • On March 20, power was reduced to approximately 74% due to planned maintenance in the Hope Creek switchyard. Power was restored to approximately 100% later that day.
  • On March 25, power was reduced to approximately 69% due to a 500kv line outage. Power was restored to approximately 100% on March 26.
  • At the end of the month, Salem 2 completed 18 days of continuous on-line operation.
