  • Salem Unit One began the month off-line due to a refuel outage.
  • The unit was placed on-line on June 3 and reached 100% power on June 10.
  • On June 17, power was reduced to approximately 46% for maintenance on a charging pump check valve. On June 18, power was further reduced to approximately 17% and taken off-line due to a Digital Electro-Hydraulic Control Driver Card Failure. The plant was placed back on-line on June 19 and power was restored to 100% on June 20.
  • On June 23, power was reduced to approximately 17% and the plant was taken off-line to repair an Exciter Bearing. The plant was placed back on-line on June 24 and power was restored to 100% on June 25.
  • On June 29, power was reduced to approximately 85% due to a 500kv emergency line outage and remained there at the end of the month.
  • At the end of the month, Salem 1 completed 6 days of continuous on-line operation.

power on June 2.

  • On June 29, power was reduced to approximately 59% due to a 500kv line outage. Power was restored to 100% on June 30.
  • At the end of the month, Salem 2 completed 29 days of continuous on-line operation.
