Exit Interview The inspection s; ope and findings were summarized on June 7, 1979 with those persons irdicated in Paragraph 1 above. No new items of noncompliance or unresolved icems were identified in the areas inspected.

Licensee Action on Previous Inspection Findings (Closed) Infraction 369/79-11-01: Failure to follow procedures for cable protection during cutting and welding operations.
The inspector reviewed the cable pulling and rete mination records for the new cable installed to replace cable 1* NI 517. The replacement cable was installed in accordance with the licensee's supplemental response to Region II dated May 8,1979.

Independent Inspection Ef fort a.
Class A Storage The inspector toured the warehouse faci.ities containing the Class A storage items. The equipment stored in this area is further protected by dust covers over the shelved items and the other equipment is stored in the shipping cartons. Temperature and humidity readings are taken each working day.
b.
Cable Installation The installation of safety-realted cable No. 2* RN 547 from Valve No.
2KN277B to area termination cabinet 1ATC4 was observed. The routing of the cable was in the cabic trays designated by the pull ticket.

QA Audits Seven QA audits performed by the site QA organization were reviewed.
These were as follows:

Licensee Identified Items (LII) 10 CFR 50.55(e)

(Closed) LII 370/79-11-02, Loose parts on a 400 HP RER pump motor. The licensee advised Region II May 23, 1979 that a new rotor would be installed in the subject motor. The motor (SN 2,-72) was returned to the manuf ac-turer for installation of the new rott r and retertification of the moto..
The motor will be received by DPC and inspected under the receipt and storage procedures as an originally supplied motor, b.
(0 pen) LII 369/79-22-02, Pipe hanger deficiencies. The plan submitted in DPC's May 11, 1979 response co Region II has required some modifica-tions. The licensee is reviewing the program changes to determine if a supplemental response is required.

Instrumentation (Components and System I and II) Review of Quality Records -
Unit 1 During the construction phase of instrument component and svetem installation, calibration testing is limited to functional testing of components which are in storage. The final calibration is performed.rter the systems are released to the Steam Production Department. Calib.ation is performed and the records maintained by this department.
Within the areas examined, no items of noncompliance or deviation were iden-tified.
