SUMMARY Inspection on August 14-15, 1980 Areas Inspected This special, unannounced inspection involved 9 inspector-hours onsite in the areas of followup of items of noncompliance and inspector followup items relative to Part 21 evaluation and reporting matters.

Results Noncompliance 364/79-19-01, "Part 21 Evaluation" and Inspector Followup Item 348/79-35-01, "Part 21 Procedures Revision" are closed.

Exit Interview The inspection scope and f.indings were summarized on August 15, 1980 with those persons indicated in Paragraph 1 above.

Licensee Action on Previous Inspection Findings (Clused) Infraction 364/79-19-01 "Part 21 Evaluation".

The inspector reviewed APCO's letter of response dated January 4, 1980, reviewed the revised procedures as identified in the letter of response and held discussions with the responsible design and construction QA personnel regarding Part 21 evaluation and reporting requirements.

The previously identified items of noncompliance related to Part 21 con-trolling procedures and procedure implementation are adequately resolved and responsible personnel are knowledgeable of Part 21 evaluation and reporting requirements. The inspector has no further questions regarding this matter.

The inspector held discussions with responsible General Office and site personnel, reviewed the company policy, geaeral office and site procedures, reviewed Part 21 evaluation records and concluded the following:
