, Generic Letter 96 Testina of Safetv-Related Loaic Circuits Final Response 1

On April 19,1996, Boston Edison responded to Generic Letter 96-01 in which we committed to notifying you when actions associated with the generic letter were complete. We have completed a review of the core spray and automatic depressurization systems. The logic system functional test l

(LSFT) procedures were found acceptable to test logic circuits to ensure they function as designed. l l

Based on the review of these two systems, we conclude that past and present activities at Pilgrim I comply with NRC requirements and address the concerns of GL 96-01.

We discovered an error in the April 19,1996, letter we would like to correct. In the attachment l under " Background" information, we stated the LSFT database is controlled in accordance with

, Station Instruction SI-TC.3.2.13. That instruction has been retired and the database is now '

controlled in accordance with procedure 1.8, " Master Surveillance Tracking Program." We regret any inconvenience this error may have caused.
