Docket No. 50-293 License No. DPR-35 Generic Letter 96 Testina of Safetv-Related Loaic Circuits Final Response On April 19,1996, Boston Edison responded to Generic Letter 96-01 in which we committed to notifying you when actions associated with the generic letter were complete. We have completed a review of the core spray and automatic depressurization systems. The logic system functional test (LSFT) procedures were found acceptable to test logic circuits to ensure they function as designed.
Based on the review of these two systems, we conclude that past and present activities at Pilgrim comply with NRC requirements and address the concerns of GL 96-01.
We discovered an error in the April 19,1996, letter we would like to correct. In the attachment

under " Background" information, we stated the LSFT database is controlled in accordance with Station Instruction SI-TC.3.2.13. That instruction has been retired and the database is now controlled in accordance with procedure 1.8, " Master Surveillance Tracking Program." We regret any inconvenience this error may have caused.
