This letter report is pursuant to correspondence from Alan Ford of the U.S. National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) to Kevin Herbi11son ofSCE dated '}/7(83.

SCE to participat~ in the California Miuine M~al Stranding Network and '1sQ satisfies the NatiQnal Marine Fis~eri_es Service Biological Opinion for $ea Turtles dated 9/18/06; ~d amended protocols 3/28112, Section D. - Terms and Conditions There were no (0) pinnipeds or turtles stranded (incidental takes) at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) during 2018. There were also no turtl_e sightings in the vicinity of SONGS by Environmental staff. An inspection of the cooling water system -forebay area is also recorde4 every shift (12 hours1.388889e-4 days <br />0.00333 hours <br />1.984127e-5 weeks <br />4.566e-6 months <br />) with times of all inspections. Since there were no incidental takes, no records of1nspec~ion 24.hrs. prior to a take have been included. No further conse1Vation measures are necessary as no incidental takes have occurred in 2018. With the reduction in required flow after shut down of the plant in 2013, all subsequent years have had 0 incidental takes, therefore there are no entrainment trends.
