Dear Ms. Wilkin:

In accordance with the references above, the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) is submitting this annual report to document that there were no incidental takes of sea turtles during 2014.

All shifty inspections of the Cooling Water System (CWS) are logged within our electronic Shift Operations Management System (eSOMS) and a review of the logs showed no sea turtles. Routine monthly offshore surveys conducted in the vicinity of the Units 2 and 3 intakes did not note any sea turtles. Both plants currently have velocity caps which significantly minimize the potential for the entrainment of sea turtles into the Units 2 and 3 circulating water intakes.
