Annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report - 2022 San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS), Units 1, 2 and 3 Docket Nos. 50-206, 50-361 and 50-362 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.36(a), Southern California Edison (SCE) is submitting the Annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report - 2022 (ARERR) for SONGS, Units 1, 2, and 3 (Enclosure 1). The period of the report is January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022.
A separate ARERR was submitted*tor the SONGS Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) on February 28, 2022 which had no effluent releases.
The net result from the analysis of these effluent releases indicates that SONGS has met all the requirements of the applicable regulations that ensure adequate protection of the health of members of the public.
Additionally, in accordance with the SONGS Licensee Controlled Specifications, the complete SONGS Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM) is being submitted with changes noted, including: ODCM Revision 18 as Enclosure 2; ODCM Appendix A Revision 15 as Enclosure 3; ODCM Appendix B Revision 9 as Enclosure 4; and ODCM Revision 17 as Enclosure 5. No changes to ODCM Appendices A and B were performed in 2022 but are included as separate enclosures for completeness and are applicable to both ODCM Revisions 17 and 18.
