ACCEPTANCE FOR REVIEW REGARDING TRAVELER TSTF-599, REVISION 0, ELIMINATE PERIODIC SURVEILLANCE TEST OF SIMULTANEOUS START OF REDUNDANT DIESEL GENERATORS (EPID: L-2024-PMP-0000)

Dear Members of the Technical Specifications Task Force:

By letter dated March 4, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (Accession No. ML24064A157), you submitted a request to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to incorporate Traveler TSTF-599, Revision 0, Eliminate Periodic Surveillance Test of Simultaneous Start of Redundant Diesel Generators, into the standard technical specifications.

Section 170.21 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations requires that Travelers are subject to fees based on the full cost of the re view. You did not request a fee waiver; therefore, NRC staff hours have been billed accordingly. The NRC st aff estimates that the review will require approximately 230 staff hours including project management time.

The NRC staff has completed a preliminary review of your submission and determined it is sufficiently complete and appropriate to initiate a more comprehensive review. The review will generally follow the schedule below.
