ACCEPTANCE FOR REVIEW REGARDING TRAVELER TSTF-589, ELIMINATE AUTOMATIC DIESEL GENERATOR START DURING SHUTDOWN (EPID L-2022-PMP-0000)
Dear Members of the Technical Specifications Task Force:
By letter dated February 3, 2022 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML22034A015), you submitted a request to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to incorporate Traveler TSTF-589, Eliminate Automatic Diesel Generator Start During Shutdown, into the standard technical specifications.
Section 170.21 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations requires that Travelers are subject to fees based on the full cost of the review. You did not request a fee waiver; therefore, NRC staff hours have been billed accordingly. The NRC staff estimates that the review will require approximately 290 staff hours including project management time.
The NRC staff has completed a preliminary review of your submission and determined it is sufficiently complete and appropriate to initiate a more comprehensive review. The review will generally follow the schedule below.
