A C C E P T A N C E F O R R E V I E W R E G A R D I N G T R A V E L E R TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS TASK FORCE -596, REVISION 0, "EXPAND THE APPLICABILITY OF THE SURVEILLANCE FREQUENCY CONTROL PROGRAM" (EPID: L-2023-PMP-0002)

Dear Members of the Technical Specifications Task Force:

By letter dated May 12, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and M anagement System (Accession No. ML23132A139), you submitted a request to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to incorporate Traveler Technical Specificatio ns Task Force-596, Revision 0, "Expand the Applicability of the Surveillance Frequency Cont rol Program (SFCP), into the standard technical specifications.

Section 170.21 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations requires that Travelers are subject to fees based on the full cost of the review. You did n ot request a fee waiver; therefore, NRC staff hours have been billed accordingly. The NRC staff est imates that the review will require approximately 650 staff hours including project managem ent time.

The NRC staff has completed a preliminary review of your submis sion and determined it is sufficiently complete and appropriate to initiate a more compre hensive review. The review will generally follow the schedule below.
