REVISION 10 TO THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA TRAINING REACTOR EMERGENCY PLAN (TAC NO. 98483)

Dear Dr. Vernetson:

This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated April 10,1997, which enclosed Revision 10 to the University of Florida Training Reactor Emergency Plan submitted under ,

the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(q). I Based on your determination that the changes do not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency plan, and that it continues to meet the requirements of Appendix E to Part 50, 1 NRC approvalis not required.

Our initial review of these changes indicates them to be in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q). Implementation of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that they did not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency plan, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of the letter will L be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
