This decision to give up License No. SOP-70030 is made with Mr. Simpkins' knowledp based upon his resignation as facility reactor manager effective the end of work on August 9,1996. Mr. Simpkins always performed his licensed duties !
in a capable and responsible manner. tIowever, for some time since becoming our reactor )
manager, he was interested in going to medical school which he is now doing. We have 3
appointed another qualified individual as our acting reactor manager; therefore, Mr. Simpkins' license is no longer needed.
