3 Tel: (352)392-1429 Far (352)392 3380 E-mail: vernet @nerver.nucengull.edu April 21,1997 Document Control Desk Significant Change in U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Facility Administration Washington, DC 20555 Re: Facility License R-56, Docket Number 50-83 As required by our Technical Specifications, Section 6.6.3, Paragraph (1), we are reporting a significant change in our facility organization at Level 3 which is the level responsible for the day-to-day operation of the University of Florida Training Reactor (UFTR).
Mr. Daniel J. Cronin who was the Acting Reactor Manager resigned his position effective March 28,1997.
Effective March 28,1997, Dr. William G. Vernetson, who is employed as Facility Director and has been licensed as a Senior Reactor Operator for over twelve years at our facility, assumed the position of Acting Reactor Manager. Efforts will be undertaken in the near future to obtain a full-time replacement or other acting individual to fill the Reactor Manager position.
