On January 25,1994, you issued approval of the enclosed highway route for Shipment of spent reactor fuel through Decernber 31,1994. This approvalis required by 10CFR73.37(b)(7).

The University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR)is tentatively scheduled to begin a series of shipments to the Savannah River Site in early 1995. Will you please arrange to extend the NRC approval of this route to et least six months beyond the current expiration date?
