7. AECM-80/218, 9/15/80 On February 23, 1979, Mississippi Power & Light Company notified Mr. W. B.

Kenna of your office of a Potentially Reportable Deficiency (PRD) at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station. The deficiency concerns discrepancies in the design documentation for the Power Generation Control Complex (PGCC) panels and its associated delivered hardware.

Our investigation on this matter is continuing. Our Architect / Engineer still hos an open item from an audit of our NSSS supplier on this matter. To.date, our evaluation has revealed no hardware deficiencies related to this matter that would have adversely affected the safety of plant operations. Corrective actions by the NSSS supplier for the satisfactory resolution of the open audit item has not yet been finalized and approved by our Architect / Engineer.
