'At our request: Cleveland Electric and Illuminating provided us an opportunity to-inspect the motor control centers shipped

to the Perry nuclear facility.

This request was initiated because

' of our concerns for possible non compliance of component material to customer specifications.

The results of this inspection is de tailed below with our corrective ac tion and es tima ted comple tion date.

1. Wire which does not conform to specifications our inspection of 1,943 units isolated 42 units that require a wire change. We will request Cleveland Electric and Illuminating to authorize removal of the units and return to Chicago Plant for the purpose of changing the

' wire s , e 2a Teminal blocks which do not conform to specifications our inspection of 1,943 units isolated 25 units with non conforming termipal blocks. .We will authorize Cleveland Electric and Illuminating to replace, under plant supervision, the terminal blocks whicu do not conform.
