Reportable Event, Chilled Water System
Dear Mr. Murley:
This is a follow-up to my letter of October 30, 1990 which described a Rcportablc Event under thc provisions of 10CFR21 related to thc V. C. Summer Nuclear Station (50-395). In that letter it was mentioned that thc evaluation of the other nuclear power plants, for which G/C was the A/E of record, had not bccn completed.
We have now completed our review of three of these four plants: Three Mile Island Unit 1, Crystal River Unit 3, and thc Ginna Station. Wc have concluded that this situation docs not exist I'or these three plants.
Plant specific evaluation of thc safety-related chilled water system at thc Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Unit I (50-440) is still in progress.
Thc Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company has been notilicd ol'his cvcnt and is providing us with additional information to complete our evaluation.
We willcomplete our evaluation and advise you of thc results by Dcccmber 30, 1990.
