STN 50-498, STN 50-499 Second Interim Report on Damage to The Steel Liner Plate in the Unit 2 Reactor Containment Building In the first interim report (ST-HL-AE-433) dated March 24, 1980, Houston Lighting and Power provided a logic for the Unit 2 Reactor Con-M tainment Building liner bulge repair. Provided for your information is -

a summary of the progress performed to date regarding the repair of the liner bulge.

- Pittsburgh Des Moines Steel Company, the containment liner sub-

plate.

- A detailed mapping of the extent of the removed liner plate has .

been completed. This infonnation has in turn been provided to Pittsburgh Des Moines Steel Company in order that they may de-velop detailed shop drawings and procedures for the repair of the liner plate. . Discussions with Pittsburgh Des Moines Steel .
