SUMMARY
South Texas Project Unit-1 began the reporting period operating at 77-percent reactor power with ascension to full power in progress. The unit was returned to service on April 28, following refueling and scheduled maintenance. Full power was achieved on May 2, at 0759.
On May 16, at 0452 an automatic reactor trip occurred due to low reactor coolant flow. Power was lost to reactor coolant pump IC due to a failed fuse in the IH auxiliary bus. The fuse was replaced and the unit was returned to service on May 17, at 0227 and achieved full power at 1948.
~ The unit operated for the remainder of the reporting period at full power with no unit shutdowns or significant power reductions.
