\ c' Docket No. 50-282 License No. DPR-42 50-306 DPR-60 Environmental Event Report 81-01 Under TS B-5.4.2.A, we are required to report as an Environmental Event, when a protection condition is exceeded. TS B-2.4.1 specifies that during chlorination periods, the total residual chlorine concentration at the outf all of the circulating water system shall not cxceed 0.05 ppm for a chlorination cycle of not more than two hours per day.

The daily chlorination cycle on June 4, 1981 extended for i duration of 126 minutes due to a malfunction of the timer.

As correction cccion a new electronic timer with more precise time

~ control has been installed with a setting of 110 minutes per day.
