IPEC status report for Sept. 20 Indian Point Energy Center Status Rel rmation in this record was deleted in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, exemptions FOIA-in vvniie -irtu staius report Tor or ep.,zu. r.age.September 20, 2006 Operational Status Indian Point Unit 2 is currently operating at 100% power and has been on line for 28 days.Indian Point 3 is operating at 100% and has been on line for 61 days.Emergency Plan Drill Conducted Today Entergy, New York State Emergency Management Office and the four counties in the 1 0-mile Emergency Planning Zone conducted an emergency response drill today. The scenario involved a simulated steam generator tube leak at Indian Point Unit 3.Entergy, the four counties, and New State SEMO staffed emergency response facilities.
The Joint Information Center at the Hawthorne Traffic Control Center was activated.
A medical response drill will be held on September 28.Entergy to Host Open House on Groundwater Investigation Oct. 5 Entergy and the Indian Point Energy Center will host an open house to present information about the ongoing groundwater investigation activities on Thursday, October 5 between 4 -8 p.m. The open house will be held at the Training Center onsite.At open house experts on the groundwater investigation, radiation health effects and high resolution video inspection will be available to explain the program and answer questions.
