Letter from Combustion Engineering to NRC dated November 20,1998.

Gentlemen:

Combustion Engineering (CE) committed to provide follow up information to the NRC in Reply to a Notice of Violation concerning NRC Inspection Report No. 70-36/98-004, dated October 21,1998. CE has conducted a root cause analysis of the causes that lead to the violation, and performed a review of dose assessments for 1998. After discussions with Mr. Patrick Hiland and Mr. Tim Reidinger of NRC Region III, CE has determined that the most appropriate way to communicate the results of these initiatives will be to present its results at a meeting with NRC Region 111.
