REQUEST FOR TEMPORARY CHANGE TO UFe RECEIPT SAMPLING PROCEDURE (TAC NO. L31252)
Dear Mr. Sharkey:
In accordance with your application dated September 20,1999, and pursuant to Part 70 to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Materials License SNM-33 is hereby amended to allow the requested time extension to certain commitment in the Fundamental Nuclear Material Control (FNMC) Plan regarding a temporary change to UFe receipt sampling procedure.
Accordirigly, a temporary Safeguards License Condition SG-1.10 is being issued, effective immediately, and reads as follows:
SG-1.10 Notwithstanding the commitment, in Section 4.3.1 of the FNMC Plan identified in Cor,dition SG-1,1, to perform receipt verification measurements and distribute DOE /NRC Form 741 within 30 days, the licensee shall have until October 20, 1999, to fulfill the above stated commitments relative to the three UFe ylinders c
identified in the request letter dated September 20,1999.
In addition, an expired Safeguards Condition SG 1.9 has been deleted. All other conditions of this license shall remain the same.
Enclosed are copies of the revised Materials License SNM-33 and t' e Safeguards Evaluation n
Report, which includes the Categorical Exclusion.
