for the University of Washington ARGONAlfT Reactor under 1 Icense R-73. The fuel elements have been removed from the core and placed in storage tubes in                  ;

fuel offsite. The purpose of the amendment is to remove the survellence of                    ;
the rod drop times, shutdown margin, reactivity insertion rate of control                      1 rods, power calibration of safety channels, and maintaining and measuring primary water re31stivity when there is no fuci In the reactor or no Inten-tion to reload fuel into the reactor.
