Enclosed herewith is a proposed amendment to the Technical Speelfications for the University of Washington ARGONAlfT Reactor under 1 Icense R-73.
The fuel elements have been removed from the core and placed in storage tubes in the ficer of the f acility. Arrangements are being made with DCE to ship the fuel offsite. The purpose of the amendment is to remove the survellence of the rod drop times, shutdown margin, reactivity insertion rate of control 1
rods, power calibration of safety channels, and maintaining and measuring primary water re31stivity when there is no fuci In the reactor or no Inten-tion to reload fuel into the reactor.
