==1.0 PURPOSEThisprocedure==
g COMPOSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY OF UNIT ORGANIZATION 1.0 PURPOSE This procedure describes the organizations which operate Unit 1 and Unit 2. It relates the Unit Organization to the Site Organization and outlines the functions and relationships of personnel.         The Site Organization is    described  in  AP-1.1  and  the  Administration  of Operations  is described in AP-4.0.

2.0 S COPE The    Unit organizations    for Unit 1 and Unit 2 are essentially identical. The  unit organizations are depicted in Figure 1.2.1.
TheSiteOrganization isdescribed inAP-1.1andtheAdministration ofOperations isdescribed inAP-4.0.2.0SCOPETheUnitorganizations forUnit1andUnit2areessentially identical.
Each member  of the unit staff shall meet or exceed the requirements of ANSI/ANS-3.1   1981 except  that incumbent members of the Unit 1 operating staff  as of January  1, 1985 shall not be required to meet the preappointment educational experience requirements which exceed those at the time of their appointment.               Prior to commercial operation, the Unit 2 organization is supplemented by the Test Engineering Group which is not included in this procedure.               The numbers of parsons in each position shall be assigned according to need.     Maintenance,     Radiation     Management,     Technical   and Administrative-Clerical personnel are assigned            from the Site Organization.
Theunitorganizations aredepictedinFigure1.2.1.Eachmemberoftheunitstaffshallmeetorexceedtherequirements ofANSI/ANS-3.1 1981exceptthatincumbent membersoftheUnit1operating staffasofJanuary1,1985shallnotberequiredtomeetthepreappointment educational experience requirements whichexceedthoseatthetimeoftheirappointment.
Individual gob descriptions are included in AP-1.3, Personnel Qualifications, Responsibilities and Authority which is included as part of the Administrative Procedures. The descriptions of duties in this procedure, l. 2, are primarily to delineate job relationships.
Priortocommercial operation, theUnit2organization issupplemented bytheTestEngineering Groupwhichisnotincludedinthisprocedure.
All persons with management or supervisory responsibility are required to exercise surveillance over the activities for which they are responsible by both direct personal observation and review of reports and records.
Thenumbersofparsonsineachpositionshallbeassignedaccording toneed.Maintenance, Radiation Management, Technical andAdministrative-Clerical personnel areassignedfromtheSiteOrganization.
This procedure describes the station organization for Unit 1 and Unit 2 as of the completion of the power ascension tests and/or full load commercial operation.       The duties    and    responsibilities of the augmented  organization required during the start up phase is described in AP-1.4.       Additional organization under the Station Superintendent Unit 2 which is required during the preoperational and acceptance phase is described in Startup Administrative Procedure N-2 SAP  100.

==3.0 STATIONSUPERINTENDENT==
3.0   STATION SUPERINTENDENT Each    Station    Superintendent        is responsible to the General Superintendent      for    the    safe,   orderly and efficient functional operation of his station.               The Station Superintendent        is also responsible      for surveillance, maintenance,             industrial safety, radiation protection and fire protection at his station and for compliance with the QA program.             He  shall be qualified to meet the eligibility requirements for an            NRC  senior Reactor Operator License (SRO) ~
EachStationSuperintendent isresponsible totheGeneralSuperintendent forthesafe,orderlyandefficient functional operation ofhisstation.TheStationSuperintendent isalsoresponsible forsurveillance, maintenance, industrial safety,radiation protection andfireprotection athisstationandforcompliance withtheQAprogram.Heshallbequalified tomeettheeligibility requirements foranNRCseniorReactorOperatorLicense(SRO)~Theoperating forcesreportbothfunctionally andadministratively totheStationSuperintendent.
The  operating forces report both functionally and administratively to the Station Superintendent.               General direction of operations is provided through the Superintendent                  Operations   and    Assistant Superintendent Operations who in turn direct the activities of the Station Shift Supervisors.             To assist    in the safe and efficient operation of the station, the Station            Superintendent  exercises direct control    of  the    assignment      of  work  to  maintenance  and technical personnel.     The Unit Maintenance Supervisors,             Unit Instrument and Control Supervisor, and Unit Reactor Analyst Supervisor and Unit Radiation Protection and Unit Chemistry Supervisors assigned to his unit receive Work Requests and orders directly fzom the Unit Staff by authority of the Station Superintendent.
Generaldirection ofoperations isprovidedthroughtheSuperintendent Operations andAssistant Superintendent Operations whointurndirecttheactivities oftheStationShiftSupervisors.
3.1  Su  erintendent    0  erations    Nuclear The  Superintendent Operations Nuclear directs the functional conduct of shift operations and when required performs the duties of the Station Shift Supervisor.             He shall hold an NRC Senior Reactor Operator's License foz his station. In the absence of the Station Superintendent he is designated to act as Station Superintendent.
Toassistinthesafeandefficient operation ofthestation,theStationSuperintendent exercises directcontroloftheassignment ofworktomaintenance andtechnical personnel.
Assistants to the Superintendent Opezations assist in the production of special reports and investigations and in routine administrative functions.
TheUnitMaintenance Supervisors, UnitInstrument andControlSupervisor, andUnitReactorAnalystSupervisor andUnitRadiation Protection andUnitChemistry Supervisors assignedtohisunitreceiveWorkRequestsandordersdirectlyfzomtheUnitStaffbyauthority oftheStationSuperintendent.
The  Superintendent      Operations Nuclear and his staff are responsible for the surveillance          assigned to them according to the approved schedule,     that operations are performed according to approved procedures    by properly qualified persons and that the rules and procedures    for industrial and radiological safety are followed by all personnel    for which they are responsible.
3.1Suerintendent 0erationsNuclearTheSuperintendent Operations Nucleardirectsthefunctional conductofshiftoperations andwhenrequiredperformsthedutiesoftheStationShiftSupervisor.
3.1.1 Assistant    Su  erintendent    0  erations, Nuclear Assists the Superintendent Operations, Nuclear in the direction of activities of the Operations Department of a nuclear station on a day-toMay basis to insure safe, orderly and efficient plant operation. He shaD. hold an NRC Senior Reactors Operators License for his station. In the absence of the Superintendent Operations, Nuclear, he is designated to act as Superintendent Operations, Nuclear, unless acting as Station Shift Supervisor. His direction of the actions of the operating station shall be channeled through the on duty Station Shift Supervisor.

3.2UnitMaintenance SuervisorTheUnitMaintenance Supervisors intheMaintenance Department areresponsible fordirectsupervision throughtheAssistant Maintenance Supervisors ofmaintenance personnel assignedtoastationunit.Theyreceiveworkassignments directlyfromtheStationSuperintendent andtechnical andadministrative guidancefromtheSiteMaintenance Superintendents.
3.2  Unit Maintenance    Su  ervisor The  Unit Maintenance Supervisors in the Maintenance Department are responsible for direct supervision through the Assistant Maintenance Supervisors of maintenance personnel assigned to a station unit.
Maintenance employees areassignedtotheAssistant Maintenance Supervisors bytheElectrical orMechanical Maintenance Superintendents asrequired.
They    receive    work    assignments    directly from the Station Superintendent and technical and administrative guidance from the Site Maintenance Superintendents.         Maintenance employees are assigned to the Assistant Maintenance Supervisors by the Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance         Superintendents   as    required. They are responsible that all maintenance is performed in accordance with approved    procedures    and    that materials used for repair and maintenance of safety related systems are certified for use with those    systems    as  provided in Administrative Procedures.               The
Theyareresponsible thatallmaintenance isperformed inaccordance withapprovedprocedures andthatmaterials usedforrepairandmaintenance ofsafetyrelatedsystemsarecertified forusewiththosesystemsasprovidedinAdministrative Procedures.
    ~ Maintenance Supervisors in each unit are assisted by Maintenance Coordinators and Maintenance Engineers as required.
The~Maintenance Supervisors ineachunitareassistedbyMaintenance Coordinators andMaintenance Engineers asrequired.
Maintenance Supervisors are also responsible that work performed under their supervision is performed by qualified people and that the rules and procedures for industrial safety and radiation protection are followed by all personnel under their supervision.
Maintenance Supervisors arealsoresponsible thatworkperformed undertheirsupervision isperformed byqualified peopleandthattherulesandprocedures forindustrial safetyandradiation protection arefollowedbyallpersonnel undertheirsupervision.
3.3  Unit Supervisor Chemistry       and  Unit Supervisor Radiation Protection The Unit Supervisors and Technical            Specialists for Chemistry and Radiation Protection are responsible          for the direct supervision of all  work performed    by Chemistry and Radiochemistry, and          Radiation Protection Technicians.       . They  are responsible that persons        working under -their direction are qualified for the tasks assigned and that the rules and procedures for industrial safety and radiation are followed by all persons under their supervision. They receive work assignments    from the Station Superintendent            and  technical and administrative guidance from the Supervisor Chemistry and Radiation Protection. The Unit Supervisor Radiation Protection is responsible to the Station Superintendent that proper posting and access control is provided for all radiation, high radiation and contamination areas, and that all sampling, surveys, and surveillance performed under his supervision on safety related systems is completed as scheduled    in accordance with approved procedures.                 The  Unit Supervisor Chemistry is responsible to the Station Superintendent that all process sampling and chemistry related surveillance and laboratory work is likewise completed as scheduled and in accordance with approved procedures.
3.3UnitSupervisor Chemistry andUnitSupervisor Radiation Protection TheUnitSupervisors andTechnical Specialists forChemistry andRadiation Protection areresponsible forthedirectsupervision ofallworkperformed byChemistry andRadiochemistry, andRadiation Protection Technicians.
The  Unit Supervisors and Technical Specialists may be interchangea as desired by the Supervisor Chemistry and Radiation Protection to increase the depth of their experience.               When needed    there shall always be separate          supervisors    concentrating on Chemistry or Radiation Protection.
.Theyareresponsible thatpersonsworkingunder-theirdirection arequalified forthetasksassignedandthattherulesandprocedures forindustrial safetyandradiation arefollowedbyallpersonsundertheirsupervision.

f 3.4 Unit Instrument    and Control Su    ervisor The  supervisor responsible foz the direct supervision of all instrument and control .personnel assigned to a station unit receives work assignments from the Station Superintendent and technical and administrative guidance from the Site instrument and Control Supervisor. The Unit Supervisor        Z&C is assisted  by Assistant Supervisors I&C and I&C Coordinator as required.
TheminimumstaffingofeachshiftshallbeasgiveninTechnical Specifications.
Persons supervising the work of instrument and control technicians aze responsible that      all  work is performed by people, qualified for the work assigned and that the rules and procedures for industrial safety and radiation protection are followed by          all personnel for which they aze responsible.
Detaileddutiesofpersonnel duringnormalshiftoperations aredescribed inthefollowing paragraphs.
3.5 Unit Reactor Anal sis    Su ervisor The  Unit Reactor Analyst Supervisor and technicians provide technical direction for all matters relating to the reactor core. They receive technical and administrative guidance from the Reactor Analyst Supervisor.
Theadministration ofoperations isdescribed inAP-4.0.4.1StationShiftSuervisor(SSS)TheStationShiftSupervisor isinchargeofalloperations onhisshift.WhentheGeneralSuperintendent, StationSuperintendent, Operations Supez'intendent ortheirdesignees areoffsite,theStationShiftSupervisor assumesfullresponsibility forhisstation.Underthegeneraldirection oftheSuperintendent Operations Nuclear,theStationShiftSupervisor's functionincludesdirection ofshiftactivities, authorization forreleaseofequipment formaintenance, ensuringthattheplantisoperatedsafelyandwithinthelicenseandTechnical Specifications.
4.0 SHXPT ORGANZZATXON The minimum  staffing of    each shift shall be as given in Technical Specifications.     Detailed duties of personnel during normal shift operations    are described        in the following paragraphs.         The administration of operations is described in AP-4.0.

4.1 Station Shift  Su  ervisor  (SSS)
TheStationShiftSupervisor sha11holdanNRCSeniorReactorOperator(SRO)Licenseandshallbecontinuously presentatthestationforthedurationofhisassignedshiftuntilproperlyrelieved.
The  Station Shift Supervisor is in charge of all operations on his shift. When the General        Superintendent,   Station Superintendent, Operations Supez'intendent or their designees are off site, the Station Shift Supervisor assumes full responsibility for his station.

Under the general    direction of the Superintendent Operations Nuclear, the Station Shift Supervisor's       function includes direction of shift activities, authorization for release of equipment for maintenance, ensuring that the plant is operated safely and within the license and Technical Specifications.       He shall ensure  that all operations aze conducted according to approved procedures.
The  Station  Shift Supervisor sha11 hold an NRC Senior Reactor Operator  (SRO)   License and shall be continuously present at the station for the duration of his assigned shift until properly relieved.

4.2Assistant StationShiftSuervisor(AS)TheAssistant StationShiftSupervisor shallbequalified astheShiftTechnical AdvisorandshallinadditionholdanNRCSeniorReactorOperators (SRO)License.Duringnormaloperating conditions hemaybeassignedtoanydutieswhichrequireanSROwithinthescopeoftheTechnical Specifications.
4.2  Assistant Station Shift    Su  ervisor  (AS )
DuringoffnormaleventsitisexpectedthattheASwillprovidetheSSSwithanassessment ofstationconditions andrecommended actionstoterminate ormitigatetheconsequences ofoffnormalconditions.
The  Assistant Station Shift Supervisor shall be qualified as the Shift Technical Advisor and shall in addition hold an NRC Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) License. During normal operating conditions he  may be assigned    to any duties which require an SRO within the scope of the Technical Specifications.
4.3ChiefShift0eratorCSO)TheChiefShiftOperatorisinchargeoftheoperation ofthecontrolroomsubjecttothegeneralsupervision of,theAssistant StationShiftSupervisor orStationShiftSupervisor.
During off normal events        it is  expected    that the  AS    will provide the SSS with an assessment          of station conditions        and  recommended actions to terminate      or mitigate        the  consequences    of off normal conditions.
Heexercises directsupervision overtheassignedoperators onshift.Promhisposition, heisabletocontrolthestartingandstoppingofallma)orpiecesofequipment andthecontrolofthereactorandturbine.Healsohastheabilitytoopenandclosethema)orpowerboardbreakersintheplantaswellasthelinebreakersintheswitchyard.
4.3  Chief Shift  0 erator  CSO )
Besidesthemanymetersandannunciatorsy
The Chief Shift Operator is in charge of the operation of the              control room subject to the general supervision of, the Assistant                  Station Shift Supervisor or Station Shift Supervisor.               He  exercises direct supervision over the assigned operators on shift. Prom his position, he is able to control the starting and stopping of all ma)or pieces of equipment and the control of the reactor and turbine. He also has the ability to open and close the ma)or power board breakers in the plant as well as the line breakers in the switchyard. Besides the many meters      and  annunciatorsy      &   computer is available which automatically prints out alarms for off-normal conditions and plant operating data. He is the key man in determining that engineered safeguards perform as required in the event of a loss-of-coolant accident 'or other abnormal incidents. He shall hold a NRC Reactor Operator License.

4.4 Nuclear Auxilia      Operator    E The Nuclear Auxiliary Operator E on shift provides operational attendance to the plant equipment.           He shall perform all evolutions with the concurrence of or at the direction of the Chief Shift Operator. In addition, as required, he is responsible for the operation of the main turbo-generator unit and related equipment from the control room and performs switching in the switchyard. He shall h'old an NRC Reactor Operator License.             When acting for the Chief Shift Operator, as principal reactor operator, he shall assume the shutdown and safe operation authority and responsibilities outlined for the Chief Shift Operator.

4.5  Other Operators The  other operators at the station provide operational attendance to the station equipment on shift. Their duties shall include checking the rotating of equipment, checking the operation of the screen house,   and handling the duties of the solid and liquid waste systems. They shall perform all operations with the concurrence of or at the direction of the Chief Shift Operator, or when so assigned at the direction of the Radwaste Operations Supervisor. Additional duties include tagging the equipment at the direction of the C.S.O.,

g COMPOSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY OF UNIT ORGANIZATION 1.0 PURPOSE This procedure describes the organizations which operate Unit 1 and Unit 2. It relates the Unit Organization to the Site Organization and outlines the functions and relationships of personnel. The Site Organization is described in AP-1.1 and the Administration of Operations is described in AP-4.0.

2.0 S COPE The Unit organizations for Unit 1 and Unit 2 are essentially identical. The unit organizations are depicted in Figure 1.2.1.

Each member of the unit staff shall meet or exceed the requirements of ANSI/ANS-3.1 1981 except that incumbent members of the Unit 1 operating staff as of January 1, 1985 shall not be required to meet the preappointment educational experience requirements which exceed those at the time of their appointment. Prior to commercial operation, the Unit 2 organization is supplemented by the Test Engineering Group which is not included in this procedure. The numbers of parsons in each position shall be assigned according to need. Maintenance, Radiation Management, Technical and Administrative-Clerical personnel are assigned from the Site Organization.

Individual gob descriptions are included in AP-1.3, Personnel Qualifications, Responsibilities and Authority which is included as part of the Administrative Procedures. The descriptions of duties in this procedure, l. 2, are primarily to delineate job relationships.

All persons with management or supervisory responsibility are required to exercise surveillance over the activities for which they are responsible by both direct personal observation and review of reports and records.

This procedure describes the station organization for Unit 1 and Unit 2 as of the completion of the power ascension tests and/or full load commercial operation. The duties and responsibilities of the augmented organization required during the start up phase is described in AP-1.4. Additional organization under the Station Superintendent Unit 2 which is required during the preoperational and acceptance phase is described in Startup Administrative Procedure N-2 SAP 100.

3.0 STATION SUPERINTENDENT Each Station Superintendent is responsible to the General Superintendent for the safe, orderly and efficient functional operation of his station. The Station Superintendent is also responsible for surveillance, maintenance, industrial safety, radiation protection and fire protection at his station and for compliance with the QA program. He shall be qualified to meet the eligibility requirements for an NRC senior Reactor Operator License (SRO) ~

The operating forces report both functionally and administratively to the Station Superintendent. General direction of operations is provided through the Superintendent Operations and Assistant Superintendent Operations who in turn direct the activities of the Station Shift Supervisors. To assist in the safe and efficient operation of the station, the Station Superintendent exercises direct control of the assignment of work to maintenance and technical personnel. The Unit Maintenance Supervisors, Unit Instrument and Control Supervisor, and Unit Reactor Analyst Supervisor and Unit Radiation Protection and Unit Chemistry Supervisors assigned to his unit receive Work Requests and orders directly fzom the Unit Staff by authority of the Station Superintendent.

3.1 Su erintendent 0 erations Nuclear The Superintendent Operations Nuclear directs the functional conduct of shift operations and when required performs the duties of the Station Shift Supervisor. He shall hold an NRC Senior Reactor Operator's License foz his station. In the absence of the Station Superintendent he is designated to act as Station Superintendent.

Assistants to the Superintendent Opezations assist in the production of special reports and investigations and in routine administrative functions.

The Superintendent Operations Nuclear and his staff are responsible for the surveillance assigned to them according to the approved schedule, that operations are performed according to approved procedures by properly qualified persons and that the rules and procedures for industrial and radiological safety are followed by all personnel for which they are responsible.

3.1.1 Assistant Su erintendent 0 erations, Nuclear Assists the Superintendent Operations, Nuclear in the direction of activities of the Operations Department of a nuclear station on a day-toMay basis to insure safe, orderly and efficient plant operation. He shaD. hold an NRC Senior Reactors Operators License for his station. In the absence of the Superintendent Operations, Nuclear, he is designated to act as Superintendent Operations, Nuclear, unless acting as Station Shift Supervisor. His direction of the actions of the operating station shall be channeled through the on duty Station Shift Supervisor.

3.2 Unit Maintenance Su ervisor The Unit Maintenance Supervisors in the Maintenance Department are responsible for direct supervision through the Assistant Maintenance Supervisors of maintenance personnel assigned to a station unit.

They receive work assignments directly from the Station Superintendent and technical and administrative guidance from the Site Maintenance Superintendents. Maintenance employees are assigned to the Assistant Maintenance Supervisors by the Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Superintendents as required. They are responsible that all maintenance is performed in accordance with approved procedures and that materials used for repair and maintenance of safety related systems are certified for use with those systems as provided in Administrative Procedures. The

~ Maintenance Supervisors in each unit are assisted by Maintenance Coordinators and Maintenance Engineers as required.

Maintenance Supervisors are also responsible that work performed under their supervision is performed by qualified people and that the rules and procedures for industrial safety and radiation protection are followed by all personnel under their supervision.

3.3 Unit Supervisor Chemistry and Unit Supervisor Radiation Protection The Unit Supervisors and Technical Specialists for Chemistry and Radiation Protection are responsible for the direct supervision of all work performed by Chemistry and Radiochemistry, and Radiation Protection Technicians. . They are responsible that persons working under -their direction are qualified for the tasks assigned and that the rules and procedures for industrial safety and radiation are followed by all persons under their supervision. They receive work assignments from the Station Superintendent and technical and administrative guidance from the Supervisor Chemistry and Radiation Protection. The Unit Supervisor Radiation Protection is responsible to the Station Superintendent that proper posting and access control is provided for all radiation, high radiation and contamination areas, and that all sampling, surveys, and surveillance performed under his supervision on safety related systems is completed as scheduled in accordance with approved procedures. The Unit Supervisor Chemistry is responsible to the Station Superintendent that all process sampling and chemistry related surveillance and laboratory work is likewise completed as scheduled and in accordance with approved procedures.

The Unit Supervisors and Technical Specialists may be interchangea as desired by the Supervisor Chemistry and Radiation Protection to increase the depth of their experience. When needed there shall always be separate supervisors concentrating on Chemistry or Radiation Protection.

f 3.4 Unit Instrument and Control Su ervisor The supervisor responsible foz the direct supervision of all instrument and control .personnel assigned to a station unit receives work assignments from the Station Superintendent and technical and administrative guidance from the Site instrument and Control Supervisor. The Unit Supervisor Z&C is assisted by Assistant Supervisors I&C and I&C Coordinator as required.

Persons supervising the work of instrument and control technicians aze responsible that all work is performed by people, qualified for the work assigned and that the rules and procedures for industrial safety and radiation protection are followed by all personnel for which they aze responsible.

3.5 Unit Reactor Anal sis Su ervisor The Unit Reactor Analyst Supervisor and technicians provide technical direction for all matters relating to the reactor core. They receive technical and administrative guidance from the Reactor Analyst Supervisor.

4.0 SHXPT ORGANZZATXON The minimum staffing of each shift shall be as given in Technical Specifications. Detailed duties of personnel during normal shift operations are described in the following paragraphs. The administration of operations is described in AP-4.0.

4.1 Station Shift Su ervisor (SSS)

The Station Shift Supervisor is in charge of all operations on his shift. When the General Superintendent, Station Superintendent, Operations Supez'intendent or their designees are off site, the Station Shift Supervisor assumes full responsibility for his station.

Under the general direction of the Superintendent Operations Nuclear, the Station Shift Supervisor's function includes direction of shift activities, authorization for release of equipment for maintenance, ensuring that the plant is operated safely and within the license and Technical Specifications. He shall ensure that all operations aze conducted according to approved procedures.

The Station Shift Supervisor sha11 hold an NRC Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) License and shall be continuously present at the station for the duration of his assigned shift until properly relieved.

4.2 Assistant Station Shift Su ervisor (AS )

The Assistant Station Shift Supervisor shall be qualified as the Shift Technical Advisor and shall in addition hold an NRC Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) License. During normal operating conditions he may be assigned to any duties which require an SRO within the scope of the Technical Specifications.

During off normal events it is expected that the AS will provide the SSS with an assessment of station conditions and recommended actions to terminate or mitigate the consequences of off normal conditions.

4.3 Chief Shift 0 erator CSO )

The Chief Shift Operator is in charge of the operation of the control room subject to the general supervision of, the Assistant Station Shift Supervisor or Station Shift Supervisor. He exercises direct supervision over the assigned operators on shift. Prom his position, he is able to control the starting and stopping of all ma)or pieces of equipment and the control of the reactor and turbine. He also has the ability to open and close the ma)or power board breakers in the plant as well as the line breakers in the switchyard. Besides the many meters and annunciatorsy & computer is available which automatically prints out alarms for off-normal conditions and plant operating data. He is the key man in determining that engineered safeguards perform as required in the event of a loss-of-coolant accident 'or other abnormal incidents. He shall hold a NRC Reactor Operator License.

4.4 Nuclear Auxilia Operator E The Nuclear Auxiliary Operator E on shift provides operational attendance to the plant equipment. He shall perform all evolutions with the concurrence of or at the direction of the Chief Shift Operator. In addition, as required, he is responsible for the operation of the main turbo-generator unit and related equipment from the control room and performs switching in the switchyard. He shall h'old an NRC Reactor Operator License. When acting for the Chief Shift Operator, as principal reactor operator, he shall assume the shutdown and safe operation authority and responsibilities outlined for the Chief Shift Operator.

4.5 Other Operators The other operators at the station provide operational attendance to the station equipment on shift. Their duties shall include checking the rotating of equipment, checking the operation of the screen house, and handling the duties of the solid and liquid waste systems. They shall perform all operations with the concurrence of or at the direction of the Chief Shift Operator, or when so assigned at the direction of the Radwaste Operations Supervisor. Additional duties include tagging the equipment at the direction of the C.S.O.,

performing electrical switching in the plant and minor mechanical and electrical maintenance.
